Kentico has two different systems. One old (that has persisted for longer than a decade), and one new (MVC, that's about to be the only system of Kentico). Here's as far as I could get to integrating shopping cart in Kentico Portal Engine. Kentico Portal Engine sucks. Don't use it. It's gonna be decomissioned in 2023 anyways.
